Approval nodes in Safeheron are the rounds of approval for a certain event carried out by your team. Each approval node has its approval threshold (preset it).
Once the quorum/threshold is met, the whole approval procedure will proceed. The validity of every approval result will be verified in a Trusted Execution Environment (TEE).
For example, you can set two approval nodes to approve one transaction. It means that to approve the transaction after it's created, there will be 2 approval nodes to review the transaction and approve or reject it. So, the transaction will be reviewed and approved twice before success.

You can view and manage your approval nodes by:
Navigating to Settings
➡️ Approval Node
in the Web Console.

Both the Safeheron Web Console and Safeheron App support adding approval nodes, and the decision-making mode will determine whether a new approval node is added.
A new approval node will take effect as long as the decision-making mode's approval threshold of t/n is met (where t is the total number of admins and n is the quorum of admins).
In the left sidebar of the Web Console, select Approval Node
and then click Add approval node
.
In the pop-up drawer, name the approval node, select approval members or approval API Keys, and set the approval threshold.
Click Submit for approval
to submit the newly configured node for review under the decision-making mode. In the Safeheron App, all team admins will receive an approval task regarding the new node.
In the Safeheron App, go to Settings
➡️ Approval Node
and click Add
to set up approval nodes.
Similar to the process in Safeheron Web Console, you will need to follow these steps: name the approval node, select approval members or approval API Keys, and set the approval threshold.
If you need to select an API Key, you must upgrade the corresponding API Co-Signer to version 1.6.4 or later.
Click Submit for approval
to submit the newly configured node for review under the decision-making mode.
All team admins will receive the corresponding approval task in the Safeheron App.
Both the Safeheron Web Console and Safeheron App support editing existing approval nodes, and the decision-making mode will determine whether modification takes effect.
The modification will take effect as long as the decision-making mode's approval threshold of t/n is met (where t is the total number of admins and n is the quorum of admins).
For existing approval nodes, you can modify them by clicking Edit
on the Approval Node
in the Web Console and then submitting them for review under the decision-making mode.
All team admins will receive the corresponding approval task in the Safeheron App, where the details of the specific changes will be displayed.
In the Safeheron App, go to Settings
➡️ Approval Node
and click Edit
to make modifications.
